This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is between Kantid Technologies, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company (“Kantid” or the “Company” or “we”), and the person or entity (“you” or “User”) that has decided to use the services of Kantid, any websites or apps associated with Kantid, or any features, products, graphics, text, images, photos, audio, video, location data, computer code, and all other forms of data and communications (collectively, “Content”) made available by the Company (together, “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies to all Users—both individuals or companies providing services through our Services, such as stylists (“Providers”), and individuals using our Services to find and work with Providers (“Customers”).

Kantid values and respects the importance of your privacy. That is why we strive to only send you emails and collect your information when we think that doing so improves your experience in using our Services. If you feel that we could improve in this mission in any way, please let us know by sending us your feedback to the following email address: info@kantid.com.

This Privacy Policy should be read along with our Terms of Service, posted at https://kantid.com/privacy_policy, and all other operating rules, policies, procedures, and terms and conditions published on our websites and through our apps (all of which are incorporated by reference) that govern your use of the Services. Capitalized terms, if not defined in this Privacy Policy, are defined in the Terms of Service.

1)Information Collection and Use

In using the Services you may be asked to provide us a variety of information including personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information. We may collect, store, and share this personal information with third parties, consistent with the terms of this Privacy Policy. Here are some examples of the following types of personal information we collect from you:

A. Personally Identifiable Information: Collection

Personally identifiable information is data that can be used to contact or identify a single person. Through your own submissions, we collect your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address; various information—including information and photographs—about your style and your Services; and account information, passwords, and other information required to perform the Services on your behalf.

B. Personally Identifiable Information: Use

The Services are designed to provide a platform for Users to connect for style consultation. Personal information will be used by the Services to connect Users, and to facilitate the two meeting virtually or in person, as determined by the Users.

If we utilize “banner ads” or sell other ad-space through the Services, we reserve the right to use relevant personally-identifiable information, specifically Users’ interests and location, to customize what ads and offers a User receives.

The Services also permit Customers to provide feedback about their experiences with Providers. If you provide your name and location (city, state, and country), the Company may publicly post that information with your review on the website. We will not provide your further contact information (street address, e-mail, etc.) publicly when doing so.

We use your e-mail address for Service-related notices, including Service updates and features, communications for administrative purposes, and any formal notices required by law.

C. Non-Personally Identifiable Information: Collection

Non-personally identifiable information includes general details about your computer and connection (including the type of computer/mobile device, operating system, web-browser or other software, language preference, and hardware), the referring website, the date and time of visit, and internet content provider information.

D. Non-Personally Identifiable Information: Use

We may use your non-personally identifiable information and behavior gathered from transaction activity, our server log files, or from surveys to perform research on how to make the Services better for our Users. This research may be compiled, analyzed, or sold on an aggregated basis, which does not include information identifying individual users. The Company and its affiliates may share this aggregated data with business partners or other third parties to better understand our Users, how the Site is used, and how it can be made more effective for Users.

2)Protecting Personal Information

A. Access to Personal Information

Normally, only a limited number of our employees will see your personal information for the purposes of providing you our Services. We will only disclose personal information of Users to third parties when it is necessary to provide the services, or if the Users choose to do so in using the Services.

B. Important Disclosures

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information to protect our rights, comply with state or federal laws, judicial proceedings, or a court order. We also reserve the right to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

C. Use in the Event of Acquisition

In the event we merge with or are acquired by another company or entity, we reserve the right to transfer your information to that new operator, without providing you notice of the same.

D. Do Not Track Signals

Some technologies, such as web browsers or mobile devices, provide a setting that when turned on sends a Do Not Track (DNT) signal when browsing a website or app. There is currently no common standard for responding to DNT Signals or even in the DNT signal itself. If you use any technology that requests that we not track your web browsing, our Services will not track your browsing habits.

3)Third Party Use and Waiver of Liability

A. Third Party Use of Information

We reserve the right to use and disseminate information to third parties in accordance with the provisions of this agreement.

B. Use of Third Party Payment Services

We use third-party payment services for financial transactions (currently, Stripe Payments). Any information you share with those or other third-party services are subject to any terms of service, privacy policy, or other agreements with those third parties. Please review those policies to assure you wish to use those services under those terms. We have no control over those terms or how those third parties utilize, store, and protect your information.

C. Waiver of Liability

We are committed to protecting your privacy and limit our interactions to third parties which we have confidence will not misuse your information. However, we do not control those third parties. You agree that we are not responsible for any misuse of information by third parties, whether such misuse is through negligence, intentional misconduct, or any action or inaction by a third party or others.

D. Links to Third Parties

Our Services may link to or otherwise provide information from or about other websites, apps, and other third-party services. These other services may have privacy practices that differ from our own. Please note that we are not responsible for the actions of other providers or the accuracy of any information about those services or providers presented by us, the provider, or a third party. You are solely responsible for investigating those websites, apps, or other services, including their terms of service and privacy policies, to determine whether their services are right for you.

E. Information of Users

Our Services connect Providers and Customers. We do not have any control over the actions or information of either. We are not responsible for the actions of Users, the nature or accuracy of the information the Users provide, or how Users use or disseminate that information.

4)General Provisions

A. No Unsolicited Personal Information Requests

We will never ask you for your personal information in an unsolicited letter, call, or e-mail. If you contact our customer service representative, we will only use your personal information if necessary to fulfill a request by you.

B. Cookies

We use cookies to allow faster and easier access to your account information, monitor traffic on the site, and measure traffic patterns to improve functionality. Our Services may contain electronic images known as web beacons or other advanced technologies that are useful in providing you Services.

C. Subject to Change

Our business, and the Services we provide, are constantly evolving. We may change our Privacy Policy at any time. You are responsible for checking for updates of our Privacy Policy and other terms. Continued use of or accessing our Services constitutes acceptance of any new or modified terms.

D. Security

The security of our Services is important to us and use reasonable efforts to secure any information you provide to our systems. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we do not and cannot guarantee your security. As with disclosure of any information electronically, there is a risk that any information you disclose by use of the Services could be collected or used by others. This could result in unsolicited messages from third parties or use of such information by third parties for their own purposes, legal or illegal. You hereby waive any claims against us and agree not to hold us liable for the theft or misuse of personal information.

E. Changing Your Information

Should you wish to change your contact information, payment information, or other information that is collected from you and stored in your account, you can update or change that information within your account or contact the Company at privacy@kantid.com to request a change.
